Client's Comments

We stayed at the Residenza Laguna in Venice over the carnival period and have to say it was absolutely wonderful. The reviews about this hotel suggested as much but this was even better than we expected. The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful and really seemed to go out of their way to make sure we enjoyed the carnival and the city – we really got the impression there was a certain amount of pride about the way they worked, something apart from simply running a business. The location of the Laguna is perfect, just 5 minutes from Ponte Rialto. The room was beautiful and immaculately clean, and the décor was something special. It was full of mod cons, which we didn’t expect, such as a swanky central heating system, remote controlled and satellite TV. We’ll definitely come back here if we ever return to Venice and highly recommend this place as a lovely place to stay at a very good price.

Stayed for 3 nights at the Residenza Laguna last winter and had a very pleasurable experience. The owners and staff are extremely kind and helpful, which makes the difference over and above everything else. The location is perfect – very easy to find and really handy for all of the centre. The breakfast was surprisingly scrumptious. Highly recommended.

Fell in love with the city of Venice and not least because of the fantastic service at the Hotel Laguna. Right next to the Rialto Bridge this hotel has a great location but inside it is absolutely beautiful – not what you expect from a one-star. Stefano is a fine and genial host who makes you feel at home and his staff are extremely helpful too. Definitely recommended. I can honestly say I had the trip of a lifetime and if I come back to Venice I will definitely stay here again.
